The Berlin Forum on Global Politics organizes public events, conferences, and workshops that address and contribute to the debate on subjects connected to global politics in an innovative and critical manner.
Our first international conference, entitled ‘This Is Not Global Politics! … Or Is It?‘, brought together more than 30 participants from all over the world in April 2013, in Berlin, Germany.
During Berlin’s Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften, May 2014, and in collaboration with the Center for Global Politics (CGP), we offered a series of interactive panels in order to present and to discuss with visitors some of the most topical international political subjects of 2014.
Our first public lecture, entitled ‘Global Politics & the Power of Numbers‘, had Prof. Lorenzo Fioramonti of the University of Pretoria as a guest and provided an innovative and timely exposé of the politics, power, and contestation of numbers. based on his most recently published research.
